DriveDate

A car-first social app. Members build a profile around the cars they actually own, find other enthusiasts, and arrange to meet at public car meets and events.

We are not open to the public yet. This page is what the domain serves while the app is in build. There is no sign-up here and no waiting list.

Contact

Anything at all, including privacy requests: support@drive.date.

Email we send

DriveDate sends transactional email only — four messages, each one triggered by something a member did: address verification at sign-up, password reset on request, confirmation of an email change (to the new address), and a notice that a change was requested (to the previous address). We send no marketing or bulk mail, keep no mailing list, and have never imported or bought an address. Mail is sent from drive.date, authenticated with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

Privacy

Short, because DriveDate does not do much with personal data and does not intend to.

What we hold.

What we do with it. Run the service you signed up for. Nothing else. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and there are no third-party advertising or tracking scripts on the site.

Who else touches it. Only suppliers who host or deliver on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (hosting and outbound email, in the EU — Ireland), Zoho (our own mailboxes), and Sentry (crash reporting). They act on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

How long. While your account exists. Delete your account, or ask us to, and the data goes with it, apart from anything we must keep for safety or legal reasons.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@drive.date and a person will answer. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your data protection regulator.

DriveDate is a pre-launch service operated from the United Kingdom. This notice will be expanded before the app opens to the public; it is accurate about what the service does today.
